Beauty Box 5 Mystery Box

I came home from work today to find my first Beauty Box 5 Mystery Box in the mail!!!  I was so excited to get my first box. The first thing I noticed though, was that it was very small.  Since I have just started this subscription service, I don't believe this is the normal size of the boxes.  I believe that the regular subscription boxes are bigger.  When I signed up, they gave me an option to add a Mystery Box for $10 more with the last month's samples, so since I'm kinda a sucker for deals, I gave it to them.

Here's what's inside.  When you first open the box, a card is lying on top and it says "Add Some Mystery to Your Routine!".  If you turn it over it has some details about subscribing to Beauty Box 5. This one contained a full size eye shadow in shades of purple from "lol" called Power to be Purple , a cosmetic tool from "Extend your Beauty" which they state "Fit's into virtually any product with a narrow opening, allowing you to get the most out of your products and puts money back into your pocket.", and then it had some nail polish from "Nubar" in the color Pinktober, and a slanted eye shadow brush from "Coastal Scents", and a sample bottle of lip and cheek stain, which I haven't used before, from "Tints & Sass".  I'm not sure what color it is because it doesn't specify one on the bottle, but it looks bright red.

So far, I have tried two products: the nail polish and the lip stain. I really like the color of the nail polish.  It's a cute pink. :) One thing to watch out for is that it dries really fast when you begin to apply and  it can get a little tacky, but it looks pretty.  I will probably use this one again.
The lip stain shown to the right, smells likes either strawberries or cherries when you open the bottle.  I wanted to eat it.  ;P  I don't advise that though.  The color in the bottle is a bright red, but when I applied it, the color wasn't as pigmented as I thought it would be. It's kind of a gloss but it did stain my lips and give them some color. Sorry I didn't use a lip liner so it's not as straight as it could be. :)

I am looking forward to trying out the eye shadow using my new brush and this beauty tool in the future.  I would have done my eyes today, but I didn't want to take off my make up and put it on again. :(  So if anyone else has any comments or ideas, please leave them below.  I will add a link to Beauty Box 5 on the sidebar if anyone is interested in checking them out. Also, if you want to use my referral link, just click the link in this post above.  Thanks and keep checking back for more.
